Management Services Department

The department is responsible for the administration of the treasury.

It is made up of three main sections, namely

  1. General Administration.
  2. Finance and Supplies.
  3. Budgeting.

1) General Administration.

a) General supervision of staff including the deployment of personnel to all MDAs and TCOs.

b) Servicing departmental meetings and replies to correspondence.

c) Maintenance of Asset in the department.

d) Transport Administration.

e) Membership at Ministerial tenders board.

 

2) Finance and supplies.

Involved in the

a) Formulation, review, and implementation of financial policies of the state treasury.

b) Management of funds within the department

c) Procurement of assets.

3) Budget.

a) Preparation of both personnel and capital estimates.

b) Ensuring budget compliance and expenditure control.
